International WaterCentre Scholarships – Master of Integrated Water Management 2018 intake 

The International WaterCentre (IWC) is currently offering three full scholarships for high calibre international candidates interested in studying the Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) commencing in Semester 1, 2018. 

The program is delivered in Brisbane, Australia and taught by leading academics and practitioners from the IWC’s founding Universities and extensive network of partners.  

The IWC Masters Scholarships are a prestigious award granted annually and include: 

Up to two full tuition and full living costs scholarships (Type A - each valued at AUD 92,645* including tuition fees and living costs); 

One full tuition scholarship (valued at AUD $52,500). 

scholarships values are subject to change and are relevant for the 2017 intake.

The Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) is one of the few programs in the world that takes a truly integrated approach to water management, bringing together social, economic, ecological, and engineering dimensions to effectively address complex sustainable development challenges that have water at their core. The program is designed to build future water leaders - integrated water management professionals able to collaborate, create and deliver innovative approaches to complex water management challenges. 

Career opportunities: 

MIWM graduates are well equipped for emerging leadership roles and management positions with NGOs, donor banks, government agencies, consulting firms, water utilities, community development organisations, environmental regulators and agricultural, mining and industrial companies. Read more 

The International WaterCentre (IWC) 

The International WaterCentre (IWC) was established in 2005 as a joint venture of four leading Australian universities: The University of Queensland, Griffith University, Monash University and The University of Western Australia. IWC provides education, training and applied research to promote a whole-of-water-cycle approach and develop capacity in integrated water resource management around the world.
