1999 marked the beginning of my professional career when I returned to Indonesia from Australia. I have held management positions in a variety of industries, including television and supermarkets, where I began my career. Since 2007, USDOJ ICITAP has given me progressively more responsibilities, culminating in my 2008 appointment as Technical Advisor for the Environmental and Natural Resource Protection (ENRP) project – I was the first woman technical advisor, the first without a background in law enforcement, and the first from the host country. In 2013, USDOJ ICITAP expanded my responsibilities, and I became the Technical Advisor for another project of the Women Leadership Development (WLDP), which focuses on enhancing law enforcement officers' capability to combat violence against women and children.
