Director, Regional program for Civil Society-North Africa- FREEDOM HOUSE
In charge of three programs that cover Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Egypt and Syria. Programs intend to support the emergence of new generation of democracy and human rights activists. Regional program Director provides strategic guidance to the overall regional program, design program, set work plans, manage funding and small grants and develop fundraising strategies. The Regional Program Director supervises a staff of eight persons including 3 program Officers and a Senior Program Officer.

The program focuses on National Reconciliation processes. Director is responsible for program development and implementation, including the technical assistance, coalition building and small grants components of the project. Responsibilities also include financial management, staff supervision, and public relations

3.7. September 2002-December 2003
Regional Coordinator of ILO’s MENA Gender and Capacity building program. The main task was to develop a strategy for Women Rights associations in order to address efficiently their capacity building needs. ILO’s Regional Coordinator was based in the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research ( CAWTAR).

3.8. September 1995 to July 2002
Arab Regional (Arab MENA) Co-ordinator - El Taller Foundation
The regional co-ordinator is responsible for conceiving and implementing a comprehensive Human Rights and Democracy promotion programme in the Arab region.
