I have more than 26 years experience in internal auditing in Public sector. I am also a Public Sector Financial Expert. I have worked in the Integrated Financial Management Information System for 4 and half years computerising government auditing systems. I headed the internal audit Division in Zambia for 10 and half years. I spearheaded the introduction of Risk Management in the Zambian Govt. I adopted the use of IIA Standards in the internal audit department. I am a good negotiator as I made sure that the office of the Controller of internal audit became a member of Public Accounts Committee in Parliament.

I am a holder of Masters in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, Diploma in Accounts. I am a Fellow Certified Chartered Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor. I am also certified in SAP Financials and can Audit SAP.

I was the President of the Institute of Internal Auditors in Zambia for 6 years. I am currently a member of a number of Audit Committees for the Government and Quasi Government institutions
