Sept 2019 – Dec 2021 Technical Manager for Pickstock Homes, on pre-contract project implementation and infrastructure contracts, including managing the project team and provision of information for project appraisals and business planning
Projects Include:
• Oswestry Eastern Approach. Development of a 100-acre mixed residential and business park, with major civil engineering infrastructure element
• Middleton Road Oswestry. 38 unit Housing Association project, on a constrained town center site, completed December 2021
• Apley Way Telford. A 60 acre, 500 unit housing and local centre site, with large civil engineering element.
Aug 2014 – Aug 2019 Senior Project Manager – Gleeds Management Services, Nottingham representing external clients on project delivery to pre-determined time, quality and cost parameters
Projects Include:
• Pre-construction for a £35m tertiary college involving relocation and amalgamation of two FE providers, including negotiation of the brief, establishment and ongoing management of the budget, and management of statutory processes on a contentious city centre site
• Managing the designers, quantity surveyors, framework contractors and suppliers for 25 refurbishments p.a., with values of £150-600k for a national pub/restaurant client

• Management of construction execution, from procurement to handover.

• £5m retail redevelopment in Market Drayton including project inception/appraisal, site assembly, land purchase, leasing, consultant appointments, initial design, town planning and highways approvals, detail design, contractor appointment, investment sale, and close-down
• £14m redevelopment of Welshpool town centre for major retail users, with associated major highways works, including the relocation of the existing livestock market, both schemes involving liaising with funders and purchaser/lease holders, and procurement and construction
• £6m relocation of print works to enable development of a new supermarket
• Development of 40,000 ft² primary care clinic; - investment value £5.5m
• £6m relocation of football club for redevelopment of a 35,000 ft² supermarket
• Planning application and development of Grade 1 listed 18th century country estate
