My vigilance and ability to adapt my writing style to and for an audience is something I take deep pride in. I am customer obsessed and will dive deep to address an issue. I am completely data driven and over the years of my professional experience have realized how important data is. Apart from technical know how, I am a people's person, I work great with a team but can also spearhead a program/initiative independently. Having switched from Journalism to Medical Comms to Retail Tech I have adapted, adopted and excelled on my deliverables. I have also led campaigns for Amazon (Prime Day) and NDTV (General Elections, Cricket and Football World Cups). Stakeholder management is something I am obsessed with, I work great with external and internal teams (across time zones) and make sure there is timely communication on my projects for my stakeholders. My experience in the news and media industry has laid a robust foundation of editorial ethics, communications, audience understandably, project management, team building and leadership.
My skills:
Content Strategy, Creation and Curation: I adopt the working backwards strategy to assess my deliverables. Starting from who my audience is, what they want, the timelines and the impacted stakeholders. I feel my content strategy techniques for various platforms and audiences will help me in this role.
Content Management Systems (CMS) - I am technically sound and social media savvy. Before I began at Amazon, I did not know how to code, within 6 months of my time here, I have adapted to and picked-up the in-house coding techniques and have written over 10 complex help pages for the website in code.
Stakeholder and Team Management - This role involves working with both external and internal stakeholders, something I do on a day-to-day basis. Timely communication, effective change management along with an emotional understanding of a complex situation at hand will not only help me navigate a critical situation but will also help establish trust and a mutually beneficial bond with my team and stakeholders.
Agile Project Management - I am proficient at using project and program management tools like Asana, Trello, Monday.com. A sense of organization helps me with my productivity. Managing stakeholders and several platforms of communications for a campaign in a central place will be key for visibility, focus and identifying blockers.
I am someone who constantly strives to grow and learn. My career has been an upward growth trajectory where I've focused on skill development, innovation and experimentation. This position seems like a great step in furthering my endevour to learn and challenge myself. The requirements of this role bring together my acquired skills and I'm excited to contribute towards the growth of the organization I am a part of.
