Professional Experience:

- Experience in research, consulting, and writing on issues of political economy and development economics, including publication of WORLD BANK paper on South African Fisheries Reform. Significant experience in analysis on a range of development and justice issues.

- Lecturer & Tutor 2nd year Development Economics, 3rd year African Political Thought, 1st year Introduction to Politics (UCT). Research Assistant for Graduate Governance course at University of Cape Town.

-Work Experience for Qatar Foundation, Dipont Education China, Oman Debate Association, South African Schools Debate Board, South African Institute for International Affairs, University of Cape Town, World Schools Debate Academy in Palestine, Russia, and Slovenia.

- Taught debate skills (including analytic & critical thinking, public speaking, argumentation, and advocacy) to youth and professionals. This included high levels of success including coaching the top speakers and teams in the world.

- Ran several major educational events and managed teams. This includes starting new grassroots youth organisations in South Africa and the Middle East, as well as managing international projects.

- Experience in development training materials, editing and proofreading academic papers and corporate (KPI) reports.

- Experience in working around the world with diverse teams, having done work in Australia, Bahrain, China, Palestine, Russia, Slovenia, and South Africa among others.
