• Implement NRC's HR systems and procedures at area level
• Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines and donor requirements
• Ensure adherence to NRC policies and the national labor law in all HR processes and procedures
• Advice in personnel conflicts/processes when relevant and advice on actions according to best practice to protect the interest of the management and the organization.
• Oversee, coordinate and manage all recruitments at the area level in accordance with the recruitment SOP keeping in mind the recruitment lead time of the organization.
• Strategically plan talent management process from the selection to onboarding & career development using targeted recruitment strategies to acquire skilled talent at the right time.
• Proactively structuring succession planning career development & job mobility to develop and retain talented staff
• Prepare and submit reports and analysis on human resource and admin activities and developing models to improve the work efficiency and HR support to the organization
• Ensure proper filing of all support and personnel documents in accordance with the standard filing system
• Support line managers in procedures that requires team trainings and capacity building by mapping of training needs and development of a training calendar/cycle and ensuring staff participation and commitment
• Management of the HR team and overseeing the activities of the HR/Admin department to ensure efficient performance and business support to the organization
• Management and evaluation of staff performance in the HR/Admin department
• Together with department heads, identify and map out staff development needs and fit it into the capacity building & training calendar
• Support the Area Manager in managing & monitoring support costs (HR, Logistics, Finance & Security) in all active grants, this includes: budgeting for support costs, monitoring of the budgets & reporting, budget revisions e.t.c
• Approvals of support cost related to HR & Admin
• Ensure development and implementation of HR/administrative systems and procedures
• Coordinate staff recruitment, and exits, inductions, trainings, staff benefits schemes etc.
• Coordinate with relevant partners, suppliers, authorities, lawyers etc.
• Ensure accuracy of staff salaries/payroll administration including all staff benefits
• Ensure that staff records in all offices in the area are up to date and filed appropriately

• Maintaining the condition of the office, guest house, warehouse and arranging for necessary repairs

• Responsible for administration of the NRC oracle based HRMS end to end system
• Vast experience using the Agresso HR System and Webcruiter recruitment solution
• Member of Area Management Team and Extended Country Management Group
• Budget Holder for Support cost specifically HR and ADM cost centers
• Developing of Detailed Budgets & Salary budgets for the support cost in the Area Office
