•Full automation of payroll preparation. This has led to accuracy in calculation of statutory deductions thus eliminating of fines & penalties as well as timely payroll preparation leading to a boost in staff morale as a result of a fixed payday.
•Customization of Global Procurement Manual to the local Burundi context. Procurement thresholds now in line with the risk in the Burundi market thereby reducing opportunities for fraud.
•Training 200 staff and implementing partners on fraud and internal controls leading to a drop in fraud cases.
•Putting in place a whistle-blower mechanism leading to a 40% increase in reported cases of malpractice.
•Leading prequalification of suppliers, which has reduced lag in program implementation.
•Successfully migrated all financial data from SUNSYSTEM to Microsoft Dynamics.
•Successfully trained key program staff on how to access reports from the system and filter based on their needs

•Putting in place financial procedure manual for the organization, which eliminated subjectivity in decision-making.
•Putting in place vehicle management tools ( logbooks) which reduced fuel cost by 30%
•Putting in place staff clocking machine to manage hours worked which eliminated ghost workers in the factory as a result reducing staff cost by 10%.
