Leading business transformation, cost efficiency and organization model change - organizational transformation at scale, business acquisitions, restructuring and rightsizing, process automation, digitization, information management, ERP and shared services/global business services.

Risk management and control - restoring control in large organization; crisis management (incl to major frauds), risk management, establishing compliance frameworks and assurance functions.

Experienced in financial management and business planning - internal and external reporting, financial planning cycle including cash and value target setting and performance management, developing financial policies and procedures , finance function strategy.

Executive and Advisory roles - preparing and participating in Executive Management committees, chairing various global change projects, participating and advising in various organizational strategic changes.

Versatile: experience in wide range of contexts and countries – Worked in UK: Nairobi (Covering for Regional Finance Director Role), Ethiopia (Director of Finance and IT and Acting Country Director): leading in diverse and international cultures, multinational corporations and international NGOs.

Extensive experience and in application of international accounting standards – practical experience in IFRS, IPSAS, UK GAAP and US GAAP. Working knowledge of USAID, EU and DIFD regulations and reporting requirements. Experienced in production of financial reporting for statutory and audit purpose.

IT Skills – Well versed with all MS applications and ERP systems.

Entrepreneurship – Founder and Chairman of All Saint Academy primary school and EMY Investment Group.

Heriot-Watt University: Masters in Business Administration (UK )
