Professional Experience:

With over 15 years of progressive experience, I have developed a strong foundation in program management, strategic leadership, and youth empowerment across diverse roles in Uganda. Currently, as Senior Program Manager at Educate! Uganda, I lead the Educate Experience Program (EXP), providing strategic direction and oversight to enhance educational outcomes and develop entrepreneurial skills among youth. My role involves managing a team, overseeing budgetary responsibilities, and ensuring program efficiency through responsible budget management and financial stewardship.

Previously, as Program Manager at Educate! Uganda, I led the implementation of school-based strategies, monitored key performance indicators, and facilitated the mentor ecosystem, which supports mentor training and development. I managed team priorities, provided coaching, and maintained team culture, ensuring smooth program operations and achievement of objectives. Additionally, I played a significant role in optimizing budget allocation, ensuring we met cost model requirements, and aligned expenditures with strategic goals.

In my earlier role as Program Coordinator, I coordinated effective communication within the team, facilitated partnerships, and managed a team of mentors and youth leaders. I ensured alignment with regional budgets, supported financial reporting processes, and contributed to partnership development. My work as Regional Officer involved recruiting mentors, designing training content, managing school partnerships, and conducting training for teachers, mentors, and staff in Northern Uganda.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated adaptability, collaboration, and a commitment to developing sustainable solutions. My experience includes extensive budget management, stakeholder engagement, and the successful execution of complex, community-based initiatives. Additionally, I have designed monitoring and evaluation frameworks, cultivated stakeholder relationships, and managed grant processes to support program effectiveness and impact.

I hold a Master’s degree in Governance and Ethics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management, which have equipped me with the skills necessary for effective leadership and policy development. My achievements include developing a UGX 1 billion departmental budget, securing grants, and training over 2,000 youth in enterprise and leadership. As a leader, I am committed to fostering a growth-oriented team culture and delivering impactful results.
