Motivated and highly experienced global health practitioner (MBChB , MSC Public Health) passionate about designing, implementing, and monitoring PEPFAR and Non PEPFAR supported health system strengthening programs, for improved primary health outcomes for a focus on Sexual Reproductive Maternal, Newborn, Child & Adolescents health, HIV/AIDS, TB, STDs, Aging health among others. Over 15 years of progressive experience in clinical trials, health services research, national & district level health systems support- service delivery, supply chain and laboratory networks as well as capacity building Huma Resources for Health (HRH),Integration of Non Communicable Disease mgt in HIV/AIDS programs, Mental Health and Psychosocial support interventions in HIV/AIDS and Primary health programs; Key and Priority population programming; Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning approaches; Policy analysis and Development; supported organizational analysis and development (under USAID strategic mechanisms transitions). Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB), Makerere University, Uganda and Masters Public Health (Health Services Research) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (Commonwealth Scholar), Epidemiology and Family Medicine (ongoing- University of Edinburgh).I have several other professional certifications from short strategic/research/epidemiology courses in the Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Netherlands, UK (LIDC), USA-University of Washington among others.
