Professional Experience:
I have over eight years of experience supporting the design and implementation of international development projects, specializing in programme management, technical writing, research and analysis, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), and project communications. I have worked on projects funded by donors including USAID, the U.S. State Department, the World Bank, and the European Union. I am passionate about strengthening democratic institutions and civil society to advance inclusive and sustainable development in post-conflict and transitioning democracies, and preventing and resolving violent extremism.

I will contribute my extensive experience in programme management which I have developed throughout my career by working on all programme components including administrative, financial, and logistical aspects. I am proficient at managing project operations in coordination with field office staff, producing high-quality project reports, planning and monitoring project budgets and expense reports, and organizing logistical arrangements for staff and consultants. During my experience with an NGO specializing in access to justice and rule of law reform, I also developed in this capacity extensive technical writing and research skills to support programmatic growth and new business development, such as when I undertook a scoping mission to Monrovia, Liberia, to inform a project proposal to develop the institutional capacities of the Ministry of Justice of Liberia.

I can also provide my proficiency in producing communications and client materials for internal and external programme stakeholders in development and humanitarian settings. During my experience with the World Bank’s Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery, I led the drafting and publication of informational and outreach products for a project portfolio increasing the disaster management capacities of African Regional Economic Communities, in both French and English. These products included activity reports, newsletters, factsheets, briefing notes, and analytical articles intended for an audience of counterparts from organizations such as the European Union.

Since obtaining my master’s degree in public and international affairs, I have also significantly developed my research and analysis skills, especially of political, socioeconomic, and security issues. I am proficient at applying different research methodologies and at integrating quantitative and qualitative data, and have used MEL methodologies extensively in my most recent role as a research analyst for a government contractor.
