Professional Experience:

A Zambian national with over 18 years’ experience as a qualified, chartered certified accountant professional and masters of business (MBA) holder. I offer extensive donor understanding and practical application of financial, administration and risk management for international NGO at organizational and project level. With increasing responsibility, for over 10 years, I have worked as a senior financial and administrative manager overseeing large scale and complex donor-funded development programs in Southern Africa providing strategic financial and operations management and leadership; ensuring appropriate systems, procedures and controls are in place to support the continued growth of the country programs. I have managed and supervised teams of up to 20 operations and finance staff. I have been involved in the preparation of annual work plans to include procurement and finance plans, budgets and undertaken their implementation through setting up accounting and coding structures, donor reporting routines and grant management meetings; reporting and monitoring by maintaining project accounts, providing financial and operational reports, requesting budget revisions and keeping donors informed of variations to the plan; close out of grants by preparing final financial and administrative reports, finalizing and coordinating files for audit.
I have a college certificate in accounting, a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and Zambia Institute of Certified Accountants. (ZICA). Master of Business Administration.
