Professional Experience:
Over the last 7 years, I have worked with the Clinton Health Access Initiative in implementing various public health programs. I currently oversee the Post-Pregnancy Family Planning Program in Lagos State, Nigeria where I provide overall strategic and technical leadership on a community-level post-pregnancy Family Planning project aimed at increasing access to and uptake of post-pregnancy modern contraception among Young First-Time Mothers in Lagos state. I manage government and development partner relationships and coordinate situational analysis of FP interventions in Lagos, including mapping FP partners for collaboration opportunities.

Before this role, I worked on the Vaccines program where I coordinated with the Primary Health Care Board and Ministry of Health on the development and implementation of strategies to improve routine immunization coverage in Lagos State. I designed a community engagement strategy in a low performing local government area in Lagos State and introduced a two-pronged intervention to strengthen demand and community referrals for newborn immunization and community ownership for routine immunization activities.

I also worked on the Maternal and Child Health program where I supported the Lagos State Ministry of Health to re-instate the core technical committee coordinating forum for Reproductive Maternal and Child Health (RMNCH) activities, to provide oversight on RMNCH activities. Key to this role is working with the Lagos State government and development partners to identify funding sources for increased investment in RMNCH activities.

I have also volunteered with non-profit/humanitarian organizations on various community development projects.
