Professional Experience:

I am a demographer. I am an international independent consultant since 2012. I have, in this capacity, worked for European Union, United Nations Development Programme, World Bank supported projects in several sub-Saharan African countries namely: Uganda, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Malawi, Kenya, and Botswana. Prior to consulting work, I worked for African Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Partnership – ACHAP (a public-private partnership supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates and Merck Inc. Company Foundations) in Botswana and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Kenya and Uganda. I was seconded to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for 2 years.

I have over the past 40 years worked in development programs at international, regional, national, district and community levels across a diversity of working environments. My work focus has been and remains on situational analyses, policy and strategy development, programme conceptualization and design/formulation including costing and developing monitoring and evaluation plans, programme implementation monitoring and arranging for external independent evaluations.
