Affiliations and Achievements:
-Donor report writing: I have been instrumental in writing progress review reports for donors such as USAID, the SDC and DFID which have contributed to the projects obtaining project extensions.

-Spear-headed and managed the process of shifting from using different travel agents in every operational country to appointing one regional agent available in most operating countries, which reduced operational costs on travel related costs by 40%

-Seed fairs: For the past three years spanning from 2020, I have successfully managed the proposal writing, planning and reporting of seed fairs attended by more than 7000 small-holder farmers in Masvingo district of Zimbabwe which have been awarded funding by USAID, WFP and SDC consecutively under the R4/Zambuko livelihoods initiative . This project has strengthened linkages in research, education, public-private sector and extension to promote green agricultural Growth by promoting climate-smart seed and technologies in rural Zimbabwe.

-Played an in-depth role in developing CIMMYT AFRICA network platform profiling seed companies, agro-dealers and farmers in seven countries in eastern and southern Africa.
Promoted in 2015 to serve in multi-functional role to support 8 Principal scientists from diverse backgrounds and nationalities serving in the Global Maize Program of which one of them served as a Regional Director for CIMMYT between 2013-2018

-Devised, updated, and implemented systems and procedures by studying operating practices, record keeping systems, forms control, and budgetary and personnel requirements which have brought down admin expenses by 30% in the last 2 years.
Successfully managed the imports, exports, phytosanitary requirements and shipping of germplasm and parcels to and from Zimbabwe in collaboration with courier companies for the past 5 years making use of SMTA under the International Treaty.

-Spearheaded the reopening of the AusAID office which has been shut down 5 years ago in Harare including scheduling interviews and assisting on the on-boarding of staff

Instrumental in managing the construction project of the AusAID building within the Australian Embassy premises in Zimbabwe which involved a lot of contract management

-Launched and led media opportunities to promote programmes and programme activities including writing media releases and briefings.

-Provided administrative support to AusAID consultants and those providing technical expertise to partners and services

-Coordinated expenditure of the AUD50 million AusAID Food Security Portfolio in collaboration with the Project Manager. This role focussed on livelihoods, food security, private sector development, socio-economic empowerment and gender mainstreaming.

-Supported and played a pivotal role in the design, implementation and disbursement of the $16 million Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund Zimbabwe Window 1 which financed small businesses.

-Authored content on lapdesk initiative in consultation with the Australian Ambassador and the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture as well as handover ceremonies in Hurungwe

-Represented Australian government at meetings and events-Member of the Market Linkages Association 2010 and Agriculture Sector Technical Review Group Analytical Multi Donor Trust Fund
