* Providing legal advice to the various Government Ministries/agencies in relation to international relations with foreign countries namely in the area of environment, outer space, mutual assistance in criminal matters, extradition and private international law.
* Providing legal advice to the various divisions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the various Malaysian Embassies and High Commissions around the world on various matters amongst others on consular related matters; privileges and immunities relating to International Organisations.
* Facilitated the foreign Embassies and High Commissions with their legal queries – amongst the issues dealt with was providing legal advice in relation to request for consular assistance.
* Drafting and approving of Agreements and Memorandums of Understandings between Malaysia and foreign countries/International Organisations.
* Organised numerous in-house and national workshops (on numerous subject matters) while sourcing for speakers from within Malaysia and from overseas.
* Participating in International Conferences representing Malaysia.
