I am now working as a part-time research assistant at Monash University where I study how climate change is reported in the media. I am most passionate about women’s rights, gender equality, climate action, and poverty alleviation. I am highly skilled in writing, editing, proofreading, translation and qualitative research, with experience in project coordination, digital marketing, advocacy and public relations as well. My job as an RA has taught me skills such as performing literature reviews and data analysis, networking with stakeholders, report writing, conducting stakeholder mapping, facilitating meetings and workshops and conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGDs).

Bachelor of Journalism, University of South Australia.

Affiliations and Achievements:

I am active in women's rights activism and advocacy in my country, having volunteered in Communications & Marketing for the Malaysian chapter of Lean In, a movement to advance women's careers. I am currently an active member and volunteer with Reproductive Rights Advocacy Alliance Malaysia (RRAAM), an organisation that promotes access to safe, legal, and affordable abortion and contraceptive services for women and all reproductive people. I am also a proud alumni of the YSEALI Women's Leadership Forum by the US State Department that took place in 2015 in Jakarta, which reaffirms my leadership potential and commitment to gender equality.

Aside from that, I have written a number of publications on topics such as women's rights and climate change, including a report I wrote for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) titled 'SRH Investment for Human Capital in Malaysia’.
