I am a Capacity Development Specialist with over 20 years’ experience working in the Community Development & Public Health sectors in Zimbabwe and South Africa. I have vast experience in the development and delivery of capacity building and technical assistance programmes across different levels of implementation. My work portfolio includes development as well as managing the delivery of capacity building packages for the following programmes:
1. HIV and AIDS (across the spectrum - prevention, treatment and care)
2. HIV/TB Integration
3. Maternal & Child Health
4. Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV (PMTCT)
5. Early Childhood Development
6. Community Engagement
7. Youth Life Skills
8. Mental Health
Former Capacity Development Advisor for the USAID Tuberculosis South Africa Project, (one of the largest USAID TB control funded projects), which collaborated with the government of South Africa to further reduce the burden of TB, with the ultimate goal of ending TB. I was responsible for the development and implementation of capacity building initiatives aimed at improving effectiveness and efficiency at individual, institutional and system levels - within the broader health systems.
Currently employed as the Project Manger at Foundation for Professional Development (FPD) - School of Health Sciences.

Graduate Fellow - Leadership in HIV Management (2009-2010) under MAC AIDS FUND LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE - Cohort 3 (MAFLI), Leadership in HIV Management. The fellowship programme was funded by the MAC Foundation & was implemented by a consortium of partners (UCLA, Columbia University & HSRC).
