Professional Experience:

Prior to consulting, Randall was the United Nations World Food Programme’s Senior Policy Advisor in New York representing the organization on the 2030 Agenda, and leading efforts to develop common climate and livelihoods programming. He was a founding Board Member of the United Nations SDG Fund and a key driver in the development of the United Nations Common Climate Resilience Framework.

Randall also managed WFP’s $360m climate resilience programme in the drylands of Kenya, supporting more than 1 million people. He joined WFP as its Senior Climate Change Advisor where he developed the organization's first UNFCCC climate adaptation investment projects.

This followed 18 years at the World Bank where he focused on designing and supervising investment projects and programmes in agriculture, water and food security, including 3 years on loan to the United Nations as Global Environment Facility Asia Regional Technical Advisor for Land and Water.

Education:

Degrees in Economics and Public Policy (Columbia University and Johns Hopkins SAIS, both Masters Level)
