Professional Experience:

I have over two decades of professional experience in project management, vocational training, and organizational development, working across a variety of industries and international contexts. My work has consistently focused on aligning education and training initiatives with labor market needs, promoting sustainable development, and fostering inclusive and gender-responsive approaches.

Throughout my career, I have served as Team Leader and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Expert for organizations such as the French Development Agency, Expertise France, and the International Labour Office. I have managed exploratory studies and conducted complex feasibility analyses, contributing to the design and implementation of effective vocational training programs in sectors such as energy, agroprocessing, and hospitality. My responsibilities have often included assessing training needs, aligning programs with national development strategies, and ensuring that initiatives are both practical and impactful.

My professional contributions include developing apprenticeship frameworks, designing training curricula, and providing organizational and human resources audits. For example, I have led strategic initiatives such as the feasibility study for Eskom’s Training Center in South Africa and created multi-year institutional strategies for vocational training centers in Benin and Guinea. These projects required a comprehensive understanding of workforce development, infrastructure planning, and policy design.

I have also been responsible for managing international teams and multi-stakeholder collaborations. My tasks often include conducting organizational diagnostic studies, drafting technical and financial documentation, and overseeing the preparation of tender documents for large-scale training and educational projects. I bring particular expertise in improving organizational structures through audits and developing roadmaps aligned with sustainable goals and priorities.

Beyond my consulting work, I co-founded Havuta Sarl with the goal of building tools to enhance program monitoring and evaluation. This initiative also focused on developing local skills for managing training programs, further supporting workforce development and institution-building. Additionally, I have worked on projects related to youth professional integration and sustainable development, such as contributing to vocational training for energy and infrastructure projects in Ethiopia and Mozambique.

My leadership experience extends to managing a vocational training institute with over 1500 students and more than 160 staff members. This included responsibilities such as restructuring the organization, implementing operational improvements, and facilitating partnerships with both ministries and private organizations to enhance the quality and reach of training programs.

I strive to support innovation, capacity building, and workforce readiness by combining technical expertise with a collaborative approach to problem-solving. My work consistently reflects a commitment to advancing vocational training and contributing to long-term organizational and societal development.

Education:

I hold a strong and diverse educational background that has shaped my expertise in project management, vocational training, and organizational development. I earned a Master’s degree in Engineering in electricity and industrial automation from the École nationale supérieure d'ingénieur en électricité de Grenoble (ENSIEG) between 1994 and 2000. This robust foundation has provided me with the technical expertise and analytical skills essential for engineering innovation and complex problem-solving.

To complement my academic foundation, I pursued professional certifications to enhance my credibility and proficiency as a project management specialist. I obtained the globally recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2012, which highlights my ability to lead projects effectively, manage timelines, and achieve strategic objectives. Additionally, earning a Six Sigma Green Belt certification underscores my commitment to quality control and process improvement, fostering efficiency and cost-effectiveness in diverse projects.

I have also undertaken targeted training to strengthen my profile as a vocational training expert and leader in technical and vocational education and training (TVET). This includes coursework in Business Canva Model for technical and vocational education, gender mainstreaming in TVET programs, and the evaluation of social programs. These initiatives have equipped me with the tools to integrate gender equality, sustainability, and impact measurement into vocational training frameworks. Training in informal vocational learning and impact measurement related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aligns my expertise with international development and labor market integration objectives.

My pursuit of continuous learning extends to the evaluation and enhancement of social and environmental impacts in training initiatives. My work in curriculum development, training of trainers, and strategic alignment within national frameworks demonstrates my ability to design education programs that address industry needs while adhering to evolving global standards.

This multidisciplinary educational portfolio has prepared me to excel in leadership roles across diverse sectors. With a blend of academic achievement and targeted certifications, my education reflects a lifelong dedication to advancing vocational training and workforce development.
