Professional Experience: |
During the last 3 years, I have been successfully managing all financial, administrative and reporting aspects of major Justice Sector Support Projects in DRC, with an annual budget of +1.5 million USD, co-financed mainly by the EU (PARJ/Uhaki Safi), JICA, Belgium and the Netherlands. I also drove performance and motivation of more than 20 national and 5 international employees in 2-4 separate field offices, and achieved an evacuation plan during the security crisis in East DRC.
I have been conducting capacity building activities for key judicial actors in DRC (lawyers, judges/prosecutors, court officers, and judiciary police) in partnership with the Ministry of Justice, the Direction of National Police, the Bar Associations and the National Institute of Judicial Training. I notably developed monitoring and evaluation mechanisms based on internal and external accountability processes (hierarchical controls and civil society judicial monitoring).
I practiced legal aid and criminal proceedings in Belgium (7 years) and was a law teacher in Haiti (1 year).
