Professional Experience:
I am Global Environmental Management professional with an MBA in International Organizations (IOMBA) from University of Geneva, Switzerland, and a PG Diploma in Forestry & Environment Management with 8 years of experience across India and Geneva. I have extensive experience in environmental programme planning and implementation, policy analysis, partnerships, and liaison. I have excellent computer skills along with high proficiency in MS Office. I have outstanding proficiency in English and knowledge of French.

I am a strong communicator and collaborator. I have strong diplomacy and relationship management skills and demonstrated ability to work with leadership and subject matter experts (SMEs). I am well-organized and can work independently and within a team, in a way developing good networks and learning from them. I am known for my entrepreneurial thinking, achievement focus attitude and analytic and strategic thinking.

Currently, at Reliance Foundation, I am managing the Plant4Life - Environment Programme, which is aimed at building climate and socio-economic resilience by mainstreaming ecosystem-based approach (EbA) into sub-national policies and plans.

Earlier at HCL Foundation, I worked closely with the Leadership and was involved in HCL’s India and Global – Nature and Climate programming. I developed value propositions for Grant/Fund Management, provided strategic consulting for prospective partnerships, developed plans for new engagement opportunities, developed strategic communication materials, knowledge products and high-quality reports for decision making.

In India, I have successfully managed the Pan-India Environment programme Fund/Grant of around US$1.5mn/annum covering 25+ nature-based solution projects related to (i) Afforestation, Freshwater & Biodiversity Conservation (2) Coastal & Marine conservation (3) Carbon Markets. I led project development through all project development cycles including budgets. All these were managed through multi-stakeholder partnerships (MoUs/agreements) and policy dialog with Government Agencies and implementing NGOs/NPOs.

At Global level, I served as an international/global focal point for many of the global programmes at HCL. I was part of the core technical team for the design and roll-out of the HCLTech Grant on Climate Action in Americas, with the funding of US$5 mn over 5 years, in 10 countries across North & South America. I managed the design and roll-out of Global CSR Programme in 30+ countries across Globe, with a funding of US$1 mn, in coordination with the Country Heads and CSR Councils. I was involved in developing value proposition, that enabled the HCL core team to plan the launch of HCL Global Freshwater Initiative with World Economic Forum - UpLink in Davos 2022, to address the global freshwater issues.

I have professional experience at international level working with UN Agencies like UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva which demonstrates my high-level ability to work in an interdisciplinary and international environment. With UNEP, I was involved in coordination, liaison, and inter-agency collaborations with multiple UN agencies. At WIPO, I supported development of WIPO GREEN Experts Database which was launched in UNFCCC COP23 Bonn, Germany and assisted in maintaining effective relationships and engagement with 70+ WIPO Members/Partners from public and private sector organizations.
