Professional Experience:
I have twenty two years of experience in different private & international organization in different key senior management positions.
With MBA (major in MIS) I started my career as Management Trainee with the Corporate Office of BEXIMCO Group back in 1990 & work through the organizational review process & Human Resource Management & Development for the group. In 1992 I was promoted to head the HR & Admin Department of Beximco Chemical Division, which included Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. & Beximco Infusions Ltd. I developed & established HR as well as Administrative Policies & Procedures, computer systems to deal with departmental proceedings & management information needs. These had a great impact on the organization in terms of increasing productivity, optimum utilization of organizational resources & overall organizational effectiveness. Being the head of administration I had several opportunities to contribute to procurements of goods & services. I also had opportunities to work with the finance team by actively participating in development of annual budget & also in quarterly expenditure monitoring & budget review process.
In 1996, I joined GMG Group of Industries to head their Corporate Human Resources Department as the Group Manager Human Resources.
From 1997-2000, I worked with CARE-Bangladesh as General Manager –Human Resources Management & Development, where my responsibilities included, development & implementation of different policies & systems related to organizational & programming issues in a gender sensitive manner. I assisted in developing an organizational strategy to promote professional work environment & efficient performance management system, which had a positive effect on overall organization. I also designed a management development program & a gender policy to institutionalize organizational commitments toward staff development & gender issues. In addition, I also participated as a taskforce member for the CARE-USA organization-wide gender equity & diversity initiative, & have actively participated in workshops to develop strategies to promote these issues worldwide & within CARE’s rights based programming work.
For five years (2000-2005) I worked as a freelance consultant on strategic planning, organizational review, human resources management & gender issues. During this period I had opportunities to provide consultancy services to the following organizations:

During 2005-2008 I worked as Head of Corporate Human Resources & Organizational Development in Popular Pharmaceuticals Ltd. looking after total human resources & organizational development & administration.
In March 2008 I have opened up my own consultancy firm A4 Consultants.
