Sylvain Browa is currently an independent consultant working in the areas of program design and management, partnerships development, strategic planning and organizational development, and program portfolio review and management. Prior to this consultancy venture, Sylvain served as a senior health advisor to the US Government’s HIV/AIDS program (PEPFAR) in South Africa. Sylvain also worked as Director of Global Partnerships for International Aid Policies at InterAction – the largest coalition of US-based international development and humanitarian NGOs – where he oversaw InterAction’s collaboration with northern and southern NGO platforms, and bilateral and multilateral development institutions. He is also specialized in the design and management of multi-sectoral development programs in Africa and Southeast Asia. Sectoral capabilities include education, good governance, health, microfinance, agricultural and economic development, community-based natural resource management, organizational development, monitoring and evaluation, and grants management.
