Professional Experience:
Mr. Webby Kanjipite, a Zambian monitoring and evaluation (M&E) expert, has more than 19 years’ of MEL experience in research design and in monitoring and evaluating international programs in Zambia and Malawi. He has been involved in designing and implementing M&E systems at both national and organizational levels, and in technical areas such as community health, HIV/AIDS and food security. Complementing his skills in MEL, Mr. Kanjipite has extensive expertise in research methods, data analysis and community development. He also has thorough knowledge of the application of relevant software packages, including SPSS, Census and SURVEY Processing System (CSpro), and GPS software. He has worked with more than eight USG funded projects holding different roles; He recently worked for USAID JSI as SI Advisor whilst also acting in the capacity of MERL Director. He worked as MERL Director under PACT and was responsible for overall strategic leadership on MERL to Z-CHPP project staff and government staff on monitoring and evaluation of program implementation and their outcomes. In his current role, he manages the USAID EYP III M&E unit and is responsible for designing, implementing and supervising all associated activities and functions. These functions include monitoring, evaluating and implementing operations research activities, as well as documenting and disseminating information on program successes and challenges. Mr. Kanjipite is experienced in working with various partners including Ministry of Health, Ministry of Community Development and Social Service and has coordinated reporting to donors. He has strong leadership and analytical skills, coupled with excellent written and communication skills.
