Relevant academic background – MSc. in International Trade Policy and Trade Law, and MSc in Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management and Bachelors Degree in Business Administration; from Lund University, Salford University, and University of Malawi Respectively;

• Over 14 years of professional experience 5 years in both domestic and international trade, 5 years in Procurement and Supply Management and project Management; 2 years in Public Finance Project/Programme Managements snd two years of Resource mobilisation in Debt and Aid Division

• Extensive experience in providing strategic leadership and project management in Public Procurement activities and Project Management,

• Vast experience in monitoring and coordinating of all procurement activities of the company in strict compliance with the Public Procurement Regulation;

• Strong experience in Trade Management and Development Policy design and implementation of Trade related Projects for the country;

• Experience in the development of project design, work plans, budgets monitoring, and procurement plan;

• Vast experience in preparing cost estimates and administrating the annual budget for procurement;

• Professional experience in Public Financial and Economic Management Reform, gained from the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development of Malawi;

• Knowledge of the formulation and implementation of guidelines for various International Donors like WB, EU, and AfDB;

• Excellent knowledge of World Bank Policies and Procedures for International Development Assistance (IDA) Financed Projects;

• Highly experienced in leading auditing processes at the local level, including, audit review, monitoring, and tracking internal and external auditor’s reports;
• Very good managerial skills – leading staff, training and preparing the PFEM Steering Committee and Economic Management (GFEM) meetings;

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cooperate and negotiate with technical and funding agencies, and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff;

• Experience in working with most commonly used applications and software, including MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, Outlook, internet, etc.;

• Good command of English (in speaking and writing).
