09/2011 to 12/2011 Solar Project Assistant Merlyn Power: Renewable Energy Systems, Ontario, Canada 4-months contract. participated in design and installation of Solar photovoltaic energy systems. Also performed site assessments and customer consultations.
01/2009 to 12/2010 Research/Teaching Assistant University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada Duties: Assisted in teaching courses ‘Planning Industrial Ecology’ and ‘Rural Planning and Development Theory’ and in research for course ‘Development Administration’. Also researched/analyzed H RM practices and impact of unionization on the agriculture and agri-food sector in Ontario.
08/2008 to 02/2009 Research Assistant Environment Canada & McMaster University Designed and conducted a survey and analyzed collected data on the use of, and access to, science knowledge by Conservation Authorities’ staff in Ontario.

08/2005 to 05/2006 Formula SAE Team Member (International Competition Among Engineering Schools) Minnesota State University, Mankato Team designed and built a small, formula style, racing car that operated on ethanol fuel as a greener choice. Member role: analyzed manufacturability and participated in the design and building. Team finished all competition events and scored #34 out of 140 competitors. Annual Event organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers.
