Possessing a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), Full registration with General Medical Council (UK), and a Master of Science degree in Community and Population Health Science from the University of Saskatchewan, with particular interests in mental health, public health and epidemiology, additionally hold a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene and a Master's in Clinical Tropical Medicine from Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. Skilled in Microsoft Office and the use of statistical analysis software such as SPSS , actively seeking job opportunities both in Canada and abroad. Have worked in various cross-cultural environments, including the UK, Thailand, Bahrain, India, and Maldives.

I am a Canadian citizen and possess a medical degree (MBBS) with post graduate qualifications in Tropical Medicine (DTM&H, MCTM) and public health (Masters in Community & Population Health Science). I am a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada.
My research thesis was on “Determinants associated with improvement in depression scores over a 12-month period: a study based on a cohort of adults with depression”.
With my professional background I am able to observe, study and analyse public health issues and see the overarching picture. I am comfortable using analytic software like SPSS and am extremely proficient in English (reading, writing & spoken). I have spoken knowledge of Sinhalese & Tamil.
I have worked/studied in environments as diverse as Canada, UK, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Maldives and Bahrain.
