Worked in senior positions in five major Fortune 500 companies since 1986 (Shell, Perkin Elmer, General Electric, Lexmark and Volvo Trucks); building successful, sustainable businesses in China, Japan and across the Asia Pacific region.
Served as Director, Global Key Accounts for Volvo Trucks, headquartered in Beijing, China from 2006-2011. Prior to this appointment, Amy worked as General Manager for Lexmark International responsible for the OEM and alliance operations in Asia. In both positions, Amy was a member of the senior leadership team and was responsible for the incremental growth of business by forming close alliances and partnerships with multi-national enterprises in Asia. Prior to these appointments, Amy held various leadership positions within General Electric Company. Amy is currently served as Vice President for K-OWL Business Consulting Services LLP, Japan.

Obtained her doctorate (PhD) from Newcastle University UK in1986 on Analytical chemistry with a written thesis of 700 pages and six scientific papers published in international journals. Obtained BSc (First Class Honors) was also from Newcastle University was granted a Ridley Fellowship from the University to pursue my doctorate research. Born in Hong Kong and obtained her higher education in the United Kingdom, Oi Mi graduated with first class honors degree from the University of Newcastle in 1982 in Chemistry. She was awarded a Ridley Fellowship by the University to further her research and was awarded a PhD in Chemistry in 1986. Oi Mi is multi-lingual and fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) and Japanese. She is highly computer literate. She has co-written six scientific papers published in International Scientific journals
