Professional Experience:
Malwina analyzes complex problems, generates and evaluates options to improve communication and outreach activities for international organizations. Her expertise lies in overseeing all facets of organizations' media activity and online presence to propel brand awareness, exposure, and messaging.

Malwina started her work at United Nations as an intern in the summer of 2015. She joined the UN-OHRLLS' Advocacy Unit team as a consultant a few months later to provide logistical and media support and the production of communications materials, working directly with designers and print houses for high-level events at the General Assembly's 75th, 74th, 73rd, 72nd,71st, and 70th sessions. From operationalization of the official UN-OHRLLS website and communications and advocacy activities related to social media, campaigns, communications products, and promotion of intergovernmental conferences, meetings, workshops, and side events to fulfill OHRLLS' mandate on advocacy and outreach activities, Malwina provided her expertise in support of 96 vulnerable countries until December 2020, including three UN overseas missions (Vietnam, Turkey, Aruba) where she assisted with a multifaceted communication, media support, and the overall coordination of information.

In October 2020, Malwina joined the UN Technology Bank for Least Developed Countries, where she represented the communications interests of the UN Technology Bank with other stakeholders and, particularly, within the UN system under at direct supervision of the Managing Director. From arranging communications-related aspects for high profile missions and events, including the production of outreach materials and managing all outsourced communications services such as press releases, social media management, web development, graphic design, desktop publishing, language editing, and translations to supporting the promotion and a logistical framework for organizing the Office's events (physical and virtual) and building the necessary media promotion with international partners. She also coordinated op-eds and arranged interviews and media appearances in the international media outlets for the Managing Director to increase the visibility of the Office.

From 2018 Malwina has been the Founder and Creative Director of Smart Consulting Strategies LLC, where she spearheads and manages content strategy for both small-scale and large-scale projects, harnessing strategy, digital and brand design, compelling content, and technology on national and international levels.

Apart from her professional career, Malwina is a highly proactive and results-driven individual who enjoys being part of a dynamic team and holds the capacity to contribute expertise at appropriate times. Finally, more than seventeen years of experience living in the United States as a bilingual person have equipped her with exceptionally concrete communication skills and the ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, multicultural work environment.
Education:
Malwina received her B.A. in Media Studies from Queens College in 2011 and in 2013 an M.S. in Communication & Media Technologies from Rochester Institute of Technology. In fall 2014, she was admitted to the Ph.D. program in Media & Communication at Temple University. Her research specializations lie in the area of crisis & emergency risk communication, crisis communication planning and ICTs for LDCs, and conflictology.

Malwina is knowledgeable about methodologies to monitor social media and website metrics. She uses this skill to interpret and draw comprehensive design solutions to strategize successfully for new campaigns, events, or other engaging initiatives. She has extensive familiarization with researching media partnerships and networks and maintaining website databases (WordPress & Drupal).
