I. Development Solutions Inc. Delhi, India Consultant Project Coordinator (Part Time | Full Time) July 2021 – November 2021: 1. Constructed and maintained timeline and budget for a pan-India project. Managed knowledge for the internal team, coordinated for interactions between client, internal team and respondents. 2. Assisted in Qualitative Analysis across two pan-India projects with a sample ranging from 41-62 respondents including government officials, front line workers and program implementors. 3.Performed a thematic analysis for a sample of 41 individuals utilising self-developed skills on NVivo. 4. Supported in Report drafting and in conducting the Final Presentation for the client. 5. Managed operational tasks such as back-end filing for information for the Internal Review Board.
II. Amirrah (NGO) India|Kenya Chief Operating Officer (Part Time) July 2021 – Present 1. Built a pilot initiative in collaboration with an LSE alumnus that is essentially focussed on providing various services to young mothers-to-be and help in their unique journeys of their pregnancy and early childhood development of their newborn(s). 2. Currently leading a team of 5 individuals to carry out research into issues such as SRHR for women in India and Kenya, cases and causes surrounding planned and unplanned pregnancies in the two geographies as well as provisions made for mental health. 3. Created a resource base for medical professionals, and government workers to build partnerships with for the working of the NGO.
III. LSE Effective Altruism London, United Kingdom Research Team Member (Part Time) Nov 2020 – July 2021 1. Identified “Inequality” as a genuine argument supporting the longevity case under the Global Priorities school of thought and constructed a blueprint to depict research the same. 2. Attended weekly meetings with the team to recognize angles for supporting our research. 3. Conducted secondary research for depicting intersections between disaster management under extreme inequality and drafted a short summary and conclusion for the findings.
IV. LexQuest Foundation Delhi, India Research Associate (Internship) Nov – Dec 2019 | May – July 2020 1. Conducted research for policies within the Health & Environment sector in India. 2. Drafted two pieces for India’s response to the pandemic of Covid-19, analysing from both an Economic and a Health point of view. 3. Performed a thorough critical analysis over secondary research into policy concerns, identified severe policy gaps and made suggestions for improvement. 4. Aided in building portfolio for the organization to be utilized for building and promoting partnerships.
V. The Chikumbuso Project (NGO) Lusaka, Zambia Summer Intern May – July 2019 1. Worked closely with the education program and mainly assisted on an administrative basis consisting of assisting the teaching staff, helping out with infrastructural management, and conducting informative and participation-driven workshops for the students. 2. Utilized this as grounds for my first student-led research project as part of my bachelor’s degree, wherein I performed a KAP study involving adolescents in a community dominantly affected by HIV-AIDS.
