Oct. 2010 – Oct 2011. LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR.
Achieved 50% Inventory reduction from $20,000,000 to $10,000,000 by training our Shanghai logistics team lead in inventory management. Saved $1,300,000 to date, with projected future savings of $2,000,000 per year. Awarded "Gold" status in Inventory forecasting accuracy.Trained, supervised, mentored, and motivated six buyers.
Aug. 2008 – Oct. 2010 LOGISTICS TEAM LEAD.
Demonstrated investigative skill by discovering that money could be saved by reducing inventory throughout China. Displayed initiative by (a) devising a strategy to achieve this and (b) making a recommendation that was subsequently approved by senior management. Creating a procedure to better manage inventory (valued at $20,000,000) for projects being transferred to emerging markets. Developed a process whereby quarterly revisions were done with project coordinators.
