MANAGER, GLOBAL OPERATIONS AND STRATEGY Promoted to Business Process Manager in charge of developing roles and responsibilities for the Organization of Global Operations and Strategy with the sole objective of establishing standard processes in operations worldwide to leverage efficiencies and support the Re-sourcing and Cost Reduction strategies to Emerging Markets
Oct. 2010 – Oct 2011. LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR. Achieved 50% Inventory reduction from $20,000,000 to $10,000,000 by training our Shanghai logistics team lead in inventory management. Saved $1,300,000 to date, with projected future savings of $2,000,000 per year. Awarded "Gold" status in Inventory forecasting accuracy.Trained, supervised, mentored, and motivated six buyers.
Aug. 2008 – Oct. 2010 LOGISTICS TEAM LEAD. Demonstrated investigative skill by discovering that money could be saved by reducing inventory throughout China. Displayed initiative by (a) devising a strategy to achieve this and (b) making a recommendation that was subsequently approved by senior management. Creating a procedure to better manage inventory (valued at $20,000,000) for projects being transferred to emerging markets. Developed a process whereby quarterly revisions were done with project coordinators.
Jun. 2007 – Aug. 2008 SENIOR ANALYST, COMMODITY MANAGEMENT Won (a) Individual Recognition Award for generating charge backs worth $275,000; (b) Certificate of Excellence by making improvements in procedures to track changes in cost and design for new-product-introduction components.

Apr. – Jun. 07 SUPPLY AND DEMAND PRODUCT COORDINATOR. Reduced excess/obsolete inventory by $3,000,000 and saved $600,000.
Nov. 04 – Apr. 07 SUPPLIER MANAGER / NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION COORDINATOR. Commended by Materials Project Manager for leadership and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Achieved target of 95% with respect to on-time delivery. Played key role in facilitating smooth transition from Nortel to Flextronics.
