I received my BA in Psychology from Boston University in Boston, MA in January 2004. I recently completed my MA in Intercultural Conflict Management from Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, Germany in March 2012. This interdisciplinary degree combined International Relations with International Human Rights Law and training in Conflict Management and Mediation, as well as topics on Migration, Intercultural Communications, Networking and Project Management. I conducted my thesis research in Sri Lanka on the topic of the post-war transformation process, exploring the Sri Lankan perspective on significant factors in the reconciliation process and sustaining peaceful coexistence.
