Currently I Volunteer as Student mentor with Global Give Back Circle under MasterCard Foundation partnership which work with bright students from underprivileged backgrounds through mentorship and circle of empowerment that guides the adolescents girls to complete their education, gain employment skills that transition to work and sustainability.
2017-2020,Worked with Christian Mission Aid,(International NGO)As Children and Youth Project Officer working with the refugee communities in protection, mental health management guidance and counseling, Dispute settlement, peace-keeping missions while using the alternative to violence approaches. Promoting basic education among the urban refugee population. Informal settlement of Nairobi to promote education and Health among the Adolescent. Training of People with Disability in different skills, Girls Mentorship programs (Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights) among the Adolescence in different project areas such as: Kisumu, Kiambu, Nairobi, kajiado, Migori and Homabay County among other
2016-2017,Assistant Social worker at Girls Rescue Centre in Kajiado promoting Education among the girl-child in the County, Advocacy for education among the girls and against early marriage and Female genital mutilation. Responsible for case management, case reviews and file updates, carrying out child and staff trainings, offering psycho-social support to the girls and guardians, conduct home visits, family care sensitization and assessments, participate in positive parenting and economic empowerment trainings and conducting reintegration and follow ups.
