I’m a communication expert with 20 years of progressive experience in print journalism, community advocacy and public relations for the international organisations.
I am well equipped with solid management skills and technical expertise in media relations, public information and advocacy.
During my tenure with the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials and the UN Mission in Liberia, I often handled crisis communications and delivered a diverse range of timely and accurate information to support mission goals.
I currently provide tactical advice on communication-related policies and strategies to the Chief Executive Officer of the Mekong River Commission and prepare media responses, public statements and opinion pieces. I also spearhead various communication initiatives for the Mekong Integrated Water Resources Management project, and foster dialogue and commitment among key stakeholders for regional cooperation.
Through my experience in sustainable development, international criminal justice and peacekeeping in the least developed countries, including conflict zones, I have become highly efficient in leading large communication campaigns, producing various communication materials, developing strategic partnerships and networks, reporting to donors and supervising day-to-day operations.
