Professional Experience:
As a solutions-driven professional, and head of finance and administration for the World Food Programme (WFP) in Myanmar, I have expertise leading complex humanitarian business operations. With proactive focus, I advance our agenda, working as a change agent for strategic realignment, and motivating my team to support the process.

As current chairman of the UN Myanmar Operations Management Team (OMT), I consider my project management and technical management skills a strong asset. Myanmar is a challenging environment from a humanitarian perspective and I am proud of the improvements successfully implemented here. This assignment has strengthened my communication and negotiation skills, as I work with government offices at all levels. Including recent engagements in regional government missions to renegotiate climate-related contracts.

Trough innovation and efficiency, my work contributes to our improved transparency - a UN goal. This is best demonstrated by my work as part of the first project team to deliver International Public-Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) compliant financial statements to the UN, for which I received the WFP Staff Award of Merit.

A strong supporter of gender activities, I work as the local Myanmar and global coordinator of Men Stand for Gender Equality (MS4GE). We have implemented activities in our offices and link with the Gender Equity Network (GEN) to support the local population. I recently contributed to a pilot project on new Gender and Age Markers that will soon be rolled out in the UN.
