2007 – date: Software Configuration Manager, The Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organisation
- Responsible for supporting the Configuration Control Board (CCB), utilising JIRA, a software package providing bug and project tracking to assist in the improvement of code quality & speed of development
- Implemented change requests regarding Configuration Management across Development LAN, Testbed & Operation, and allocated other requests to appropriate team members
- Accountable for all administration and user support issues (installations, platform migration, upgrades, maintenance, training and support) relating to ClearCase (software repository)
- Lead version control, merging, labelling, compiling, building, integration and deployment of all source code, libraries, executables, documentation, configuration files via Clearcase
- Oversaw the automation of the build process using perlscript on the Linux environment where most of the applications supported are written in C, C++, Java, python and sql
- Established, controlled, documented and communicated Clearcase user views, branching and merging, produced specs, developed integration policies & strategies, prepared all documentation and user training
- Managed stakeholders effectively including Software Development Team, Processing Engineers and CCB using Confluence as the collaboration tool to promote faster, efficient communication
- Specialised in writing software applications that are used in the monitoring and analysis of data in the Seismic, Hydroacoustic, Infra Sound & Noble gas fields
