Experienced Finance, Accounting and Operations specialist with over 20 years extensive experience working with NGOs, Donors, private and public institutions. I have experience working with multi donors (including Big Lottery, DFID, EC, SIDA, AIDSFONDS). More recently I have successfully led the VSO financial operations as the Country Office Manager. Highlights of my career include directing all organizational operations in multi countries, understanding several donor requirements and successfully reporting all management accounts and operations. I have a sound track record of ensuring the financial management systems are easily understood by those with limited accounting background and a competent trainer to junior and non-financial personnel. Exceptionally good with budget forecasting, and planning having worked in volatile economies. Understands the importance of contractual conditions and restrictions as it relates to donor funding. A full Chartered Accountant, familiar with Zimbabwe and Zambia accounting principles.
