Professional Experience:

Joseph Odongo has over 22 years working experience in Road Engineering for development which includes the period in development cooperation programs with the World Bank as a State Based Engineer for the Lakes State of the Republic of South Sudan and the International Labour Organization (ILO) of 5 years. He is an expert in Labour based method for rural road works and a seasoned trainer. He has worked in Asia and Africa. Currently, he is a Project Engineer at the War Child Canada Bridge Project and is responsible for overseeing the construction of 34 sets of secondary school structures in north and Southwestern refugee hosting districts in Uganda under the BRIDGE project. He is a Corporate Member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (PE1046) and a Registered Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (RE1053) of Uganda.

MBA TRANSPORT ECONOMICS AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT (2017, East and Southern African Management Institute, Tanzania).

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING (Honours, 2003, Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda).
