Professional Experience:
My professional experience cuts across the following areas: Enterprise Security Risk Management, Vendor Management, Project Management, Corporate Security Strategy development, Quality assurance, Learning & Development/coaching and mentoring, Occupational Safety, Work and Wellbeing; Workplace Violence Prevention; security Research and Development.

I have worked with the Central Bank of Nigeria for seventeen years, three years with a trade union (Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees) also as Associate Tutor at the School of Business, University of Leicester, UK for two years and a half. I have served as ErasmusPlus Fellow at Rhodes Business School, Rhodes University South Africa. I have also volunteered in providing leadership for civil society organisations where I have had to work with diverse teams for several years, including ASIS International, Custodians of African Literature (COAL), and Diagold Foundation while mentoring and coaching several persons across different geographic settings.
Education:
My educational pursuit reflects the my commitment to personal development as the foundation for my mission of impacting groups, organisations and society. I set out to study sociology at the University of Calabar, where I obtained BSc, MSc and PhD, with specialization in Development Studies.

Thereafter, I proceeded to study MSc in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management at the University of Leicester, UK given my interest in expanding the scope of service delivery in risk management. I further obtained Post-Graduate Certificate in Operational Risk at the Middlesex University, UK to strengthen my focus on organizational resilience and enterprise risk management.

In the course of my professional engagements, I realized that I was offering support to my team at a personal level and thus decided to deepen my skill set around mentoring and coaching in a higher professional level and proceeded to study psychology (University Certificate in Psychology) at University of Derby, then completed a Masters in Psychology (Distinction) at University of Roehampton, followed by a specialist Masters degree in Organizational Psychology at University of London, all in the United Kingdom. I also studied and obtained the professional certificate in Evidence-based management from the Center for Evidence Based Management/Carnegie Mellon University.

I am currently completing Level 5 Diploma in Human Resources with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), with the target date being January, 2022.

I am a member of several professional bodies, including the British Psychological Society, Institute of Risk Management, Security Institute (UK), Association for Business Psychology, etc.
