Building capacity on the African continent to diversify income away from government funding, creating development boards and securing donations from leading international foundations. Management of a team of two.
- Head of Fundraising, International Astronomical Union. EUR 1 million raised from partners including Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, Heising-Simons Foundation. Designed and delivered a fundraising strategy for major giving and membership for the IAU's 10-year strategy to 2030.
- Head of Major Giving, Refuge. GBP 2.8 million pounds raised from major doonors and funders such as the Chelsea Foundation. Designed a major gifts strategy including capital campaign and feasbility for an impact investing fund. Led a team of three, designed training for sxiteen staff members.
- Head of Fundraising, Aflatoun International. EUR 2.6 million raised from partners including Jacobs Foundation and Credit Suisse Foundation for international development
