• Assisted in creating UN/RPO (United Nations Regional Procurement Office) style of doing business with its client base, which encompassed establishing viable templates for the issuance of solicitations.
• Conducted the solicitation and completed the contracting for the construction of UNMIS’s new HQ location in Juba (South Sudan) valued at US $12 million and.
• Managed the provision of freight forwarding and customs clearance services for assets Ex-Chad to various destinations globally in support to MINURCAT liquidation for the total estimate amount of US $39 million.
• Implemented and oversaw procurement processes that resulted in the first generation of Regional Contracts that were being used by UN peacekeeping missions in Eastern and Central Africa Region.
• Successfully elaborated the Service Level Agreement (LSA) geared toward recording a common understanding about services and responsibilities between the UN/RPO and all stakeholders committed to streamline the UN procurement processes in Africa Region.
• Served as a member of the Project Team charged with developing the concept and strategy aimed at implementing the Regional Freight Forwarding Services (RFFS) between the peacekeeping missions in the Great Lakes Region.
• Set-up the Regional Procurement Unit in Goma, which was required to support MONUSCO’s activities in the eastern region in DRC.
• Oversaw implementation of procurement projects with multimillion-dollar expenditures.
• Introduced the procurement lifecycle for various procurement projects including construction projects of schools, health centers, borehole, and modern wells in Mali, Burundi, Niger, and Guinea.
• Created and operated efficient procurement systems while providing critical analysis of goods and services delivery and recommending sound protocols while serving UNICEF in diverse countries.
