Tadzi (short for Tadziripa) has more than 12 years experience in strategic
communications, partner relations management, event planning and the execution of high impact media campaigns on digital and non-digital platforms. She has a proven record in developing successful marketing campaigns in 8 markets in Africa namely Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Ghana, DRC, Chad, Senegal, Ethiopia and Rwanda; and successfully working on a global communications team where she supports in developing and executing a communication strategy for 18 countries internationally across two continents Africa and Europe. She has successfully driven awareness and visibility to targeted audiences through the implemenation of various communications projects.
Her background in advertising developed her creative skills whilst her background in non-profit communications developed her editorial and writing skills for impact communications, fundraising, storytelling and PR. Highly proficient in Graphic Design skills and in Adobe Creative Suite, Tadzi is a creative thinker and designer recognized for strong project management and branding skills.
She is also skilled in relationship building, pitching and conducting trainings and workshops on a variety of communication topics. She has trained over 200 social entrepreneurs across Africa in communication skills that have helped them improve the way they communicate about their work.
Tadziripa is also giving back and volunteers in her community through her career guidance initiative IGNITE Youth, that focuses on developing, mentoring and equipping youth to become influential leaders in their local communities, schools and country, helping them to realise their fullest potential.

I have a Bachelors Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of South Africa. The International Relations and Diplomacy degree provided great insights into foreign affairs, public policies, international development, economic trends, social issues, law and many more. This diverse degree allowed me to investigate the complexities of relationships between different countries and apply this understanding to the world of work. The degree gave me the skills to inform about and interpret various political developments and analyse laws, public policies, and government decisions.
I also have a Professional Certificate in Peace, Trade and Development from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, California. This intensive practical training program provided me with the opportunity to learn from the experiences and approaches of scholars and practitioners who work on some of the most difficult challenges our world faces today, including: resolving conflict, ending all forms of violence, providing social justice, and creating more secure and developed societies by transforming the conditions and relationships of conflict. These topics are explored through a process of self-reflection, gathering of theoretical and conceptual data and its application to real-world problems.
In addition, I have Facilitators Certificate in Alternatives to Violence (AVP) from Phaphama Initiatives. The training focused on life and conflict resolution skills, language and culture learning. Key topics were organisational transformation, social transformation, the power of affirmation, communication, co-operation and community building to transform ourselves and our situations in ways that uphold the good in all of us.
I am also currently studying an Advanced Diploma in Public Relations with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), London, through distance learning. The CIPR Advanced Certificate in Public Relations is helping me gain an advanced understanding of professional practice, including PR strategy and planning, digital content management, media and engagement, measurement and evaluation, and PR leadership.
