Total responsibility to manage the programmes in India with Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation, a Japanese organization that aims at integrating the persons affected with leprosy and their family members to enjoy equal rights. Responsibilities include developing strategies, setting operational goals for livelihood, skill development and education programmes for the persons affected by leprosy and their families; design programmes, tools, and techniques for monitoring and evaluation of projects for enhancing their efficiency, outcomes and impacts across 12 states in India; provide leadership and direction for the sustainability of programmes and initiatives, liaise with external stakeholders, work in close coordination with the Association of Persons Affected with Leprosy (an organisations run by persons affected with leprosy) manage a team at the headquarter as well as in the field, quarterly update the Board about the programmes.
