February 2013 to present: Country Representative of American Friends Service Committee Burundi with the following achievements:

Program Planning and Management:
• Successfully integrated Results Based Planning and Management and tailored tools into all the country projects with partners for better accountability and impact in communities;
• Led annual planning processes for the country program to guide the organization’s interventions in the country;
• Revised the existing Country Strategic Plan through an inclusive process with partners and senior management of the organization and supported the crafting of the Africa Regional Strategic Plan;
• Sustained the organizations approach in quiet diplomacy in policy change to minimize conflict through the Dialogue and Exchange Program tool;

August 2008 – January 2013: Recruited as Strategic Planning/M & E Officer for the United Nations Integrated Office in Burundi, BINUB & BNUB with the following contributions;

- Assisted the UN Mission Management in Burundi to transform the mandate priorities into the Results Based Budget document and Annual Work Plans with clear implementation schedule of monitoring and evaluation activities,
- Assisted BINUB/BNUB to develop M&E new processes, tools and instruments and refined existing practices,
- Identified data flow mechanism and management from the different Sections work plans to a central system and information sharing mechanism among the different stakeholders working with the UN Mission,
- Assisted BINUB/BNUB Management and Resident Coordinator’s Office to take concrete steps towards implementing a simple and cost-effective Result-based monitoring and evaluation system to improve the decision making process,
- Assisted the BINUB/BNUB Management to pilot the design of the M&E system and roll-out across the different sections in a sustainable manner,
- Ensured that data required for M&E is regularly collected by relevant sections/units/program managers and maintained in an integrated database,
- Improved on the strategic and operational planning and data gathering for the Mission’s Results Based Budget (RBB) with involvement of the Sections,
- Participated in an internal strategic assessment for the UN Mission with involvement of Sections and UN agencies to prepare the coming of the Strategic Assessment Team from HQ to determine the future configuration of the UN actions in Burundi,
- Assisted the UN Mission and the UN System as a whole to establish protocol among various stakeholders of the government for coordination of data collection and sharing, instruments and tools developments,
- Designed and developed M&E training and coaching for immediate colleagues, UN System colleagues, government program staffs and other collaborators,
