I have been in senior management positions for more than 15 years in government in the areas of health, educations, youth, sport,culture, human resource, and local government. I have coordinated development programmes funded by development partners and worked with various stakeholders including donors, NGOs, civil society, private sector and communities. I have been a member of corporate boards in pensions, medical aid, university councils. I have led government delegations to major regional and international meetings namely SADC, AU, UN, WHO, MNEPS, and CGEPS. I have interacted with a number of sporting bodies in my capacity as Chairperson of the International Working Group on women and sport.Organised and hosted two major events namely The Africa Youth Games and the International Conference on Women and Sport.
