My job is to monitor the content that broadcasters air and to ensure that it adheres to broadcast regulations (such as the fact that broadcasters must at least air forty percent local content) as well as the Kenya Information and Communication Act and subsidiary regulation as well as to ensure that it adheres to the Programming Code in regards to adhering to standards of public policy (such as airing no vulgar or demeaning content).
My duties also include being responsible for juggling multiple projects simultaneously, such as planning marketing events, writing press releases, and creating media kits and digital campaigns.
