Attended short courses in management,delivery of extension, research linkage management, international health regulations,international animal health organisation and standards, sanitary frameworks for trade in animals and animal products,project cycle management,Research management, organisation and management of veterinary testing laboratory services, Biotechnology in agriculture, gender issues in sciences,agriculture and animal health

Affiliations and Achievements:

1.worked extensively with non-governmental organisations promoting public awareness of modern biotechnology and gender issues of science and society
2. personally ran on-the job training for veterinary laboratory diagnosticians
3. served on corporate boards for agricultural education, tobacco research, a national science park institution, a national meat export company, a national pig producer organisation a national biotechnology authority, a foundation committee for an Continental African University and an African university for women
A founding member of the Zimbabwe academy of sciences
Also served two terms on the board of the International Network of Women Scientists and Engineers

Introduced modern veterinary epidemiology into the the decision support system

Initiated a formal linkage management system for enhanced surveillance of zoonotic diseases
